Ingredients for Swiss Mushroom Fondue Recipe
2 cans Cheddar cheese soup
1 pound swiss cheese – grated
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 small can of mushroom pieces
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together and cook on low until all the cheese is melted. This can also be done in the microwave, just stir every 30 to 45 seconds until completely melted.
- Serve warm with pieces of crusty bread.
- You can keep this warm for longer in a crockpot if you don’t have a fondue pot!
Note: You can use any type of bread and play around with different artisanal bread flavors and bagels. The beauty of this super easy recipe is that it can be combined with any dippers you already have on hand.
Tip: Want some other dipper ideas beyond the bread? This recipe would be delish with any raw or steamed vegetables such as potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and button mushrooms. You can also smother sliders with it (who doesn’t love a good mushroom and swiss burger?).
